I Promise I'm Still Alive!

I'm being harassed by you guys for a blog update, so here it is! I've been pretty busy for the past month with work, my internship, wedding stuff, being on vacation, just hanging out with family and friends, getting engaged (hehe just kidding! just checking to make sure you're paying attention). 

So Shafaq, my sister-in-law's sister, just got married July 4th weekend and that was probably one of the funnest weekends I've had in a while (Yes, it was so much fun I had to make up a word to describe it). I spent pretty much the entire weekend at my sister-in-law's house, partying it up with her family. Afterparty shenanigans included Mangos and Famous at 2am, Mafia, King, The Game of Things, but the highlight of the weekend? Cake fight started by the aunties, oh yeah. 

The Wednesday after that, my family, and my aunt and uncle drove up to New York. We chilled with my cousins for a day and then went on a cruise from there - up New England to Canada. The cruise was awesome. Although the weather was sucky (it was foggy most of the time) and the boat was rocking a lot, it was a fun vacation. Highlight of the cruise? watching the world cup final on the big screen on the outside deck. 

Other than that, I've been chilling with friends and family. Saw a bunch of friends this weekend that I haven't seen in forever, so that was really exciting :) I've had a bunch of random crap on my mind that was kind of bumming me out so it was nice to not think about it and just enjoy life, you know? My face has been breaking out in rashes lately, ever since I got back from the cruise, and I don't know why. I think I might be allergic to the sun. I wish my face wasn't so itchy. Maybe a facial tonight will help.
